Sushi, Pandas & Harry Potter.

Crazy to believe I only have two weeks left in this amazing city! Uncle Adam and Aunt Nicole sure have welcomed me into their home and treated me well.  Nats Baseball Games with VIP box seats and an all-you-can-eat/drink lounge, our trip to Chesapeake Bay last weekend, shopping and dining in Georgetown, the list goes on and on.
Today we ventured to Adams Morgan and got sushi (spicy salmon, yum). The waitress wasn't too impressed when we stuck chopsticks in Oliver's little fro to keep him entertained. And she glared at me from afar, watching my sad attempts at picking up a goldfish with my chopsticks. If only they would've had forks, it would've been all swell. My fortune seemed all too relavent based on my post Keep Calm & Carry On two days ago.
We then headed to the National Zoo, one of only two zoos in the country with panda bears! Unfortunately this blistering 100+ weather was too brutal for these guys to be outside and the line to inside was a mile long. With a miserable 2 year old baking in his stroller, no thanks. Scratch that, virtually none of the animals were out, except maybe a prairie dog and some farm animals...
The Panda I wish I woulda seen.
Tonight I am finally getting to see Harry Pothead in 3D, super stoked. Auntie Cole hasn't kept up with the series in the least, so not sure how she'll dig it, but I'll have enough fun for the two of us combined! Although I love, love, love DC and would come back in a heartbeat, I am pretty stoked to get back to the OxBox. Move in day's in three short weeks. Wow did this summer fly by!

Hey Just stopped by from ftlob. Had to click on the post as the title pretty much describes 3 of my favourite things! I live in Edinburgh and Pandas are coming to the zoo here next month. So excited!
