Just when we think we've got men all figured out...
10 things men wish women knew...
1. Men like it when we make the first move.Logical, right? It takes the stress off of them for a while. Now this doesn't mean throwing yourself at him, you still want to maintain a bit of mystery. But give off the first flirty signal, be it holding his eye contact a second longer or a seductive smile, to let him know you're into him.
2. Men cannot read our minds.
So speak up when something is bothering you. As much as we wish, hope, and dream that they can, they are not telepathic. Which is why they are typically horrible at picking up subtle hints that we as women feel should be obvious. They are on your side and want you to be happy. Quit dropping the "I'm fine" bombs on them and be straight up. It's a waste of both of your time to beat around the bush.
3. Confidence is sexier than any lingerie.
Men like strong, independent women. Okay, sometimes I take this one to the extreme, I'll admit. You don't always have to be needing them for attention, support, and your livelihood. I suppose at times, they do like being that knight in shining armour character that can save the day, so you can give them that glory every once in a while.
4. It's a big deal when men take the leap to introduce you to their friends.
And an even bigger one when it's the family. When he feels comfortable with you, he will want to integrate you into his entire life. If you’re still spending all your time alone together after a few months, you’re most likely having some kind of an affair, not a relationship. Why would he want to hide you from the people who mean the most to him?
5. Men don't like playing games.
Sure, the chase may be fun for a while, but once they catch you, they just want to have you, without any nonsensical nonsense.
6. Superficial objectification cuts both ways.
Just as women don't want to be judged for their looks and sex appeal, men want to be loved for more than their "provider" status. Who cares if he doesn't have a 6 figure bank account, you should love him for more than just materialistic things.
7. Saying "I Love You" is a huge step for a man.
Not an issue they take lightly either. Don't rush him into it, even if you feel you've been together for what seems like forever. When it's meant to happen, it will naturally flow out.
8. Men are more conscious about their appearance than we think.
(Okay, this may only ring true for some men). We think the whole, "Does this dress make me look fat?" is only a woman's problem, but men are sensitive too. So throw him a bone once in a while, compliment his outfit and tell him how sexy he really is to you. Oh, and in case you weren't aware, men can be hormonal too.
9. Excessive communication is a turn-off.
We don't need to be connected to you 24/7/365. Allow them their guy time. Like women need the affirmation of their girl friends, guys need the companionship of other men. This kind of solo time will refresh them and we’ll come back with more for of you.
10. When they screw up, go ahead and tell them—once
Not twice, not thrice. Don't throw everything and the kitchen sink in when he makes a mistake. It will degrade him as a man and make him feel like he's constantly walking on eggshells around you.

What a great post! I really need to remember that my husband cannot read my mind. It would be a lot easier if he could though. :)
