What's the point of a corkcicle?  Wines are delicate. Making your wine too cold could mask the vintner’s uniquely crafted complexities. Making it too warm and its subtle flavors may be overwhelmed by the alcohol. Corkcicle keeps wines at the ideal temperature without the messiness, and unreliablity, of an ice bucket. 

Aren't Reds supposed to be "room" temp?  False. Historically, wines have been stored in cellars in old breezy castles where the room temperature was quite a bit less than the average 72 degrees we keep our homes at today.
