My Rules to Live By:

1. No matter how bad things get, there's always someone out there worse off than you.

2. Never get too comfortable.

3. Never go to bed angry.

4. Change is an inevitable part of life, deal with it.

5. The past can't be changed but the future is fully in your hands.

6. Question everything.

7. It takes years to build up trust, but only seconds to destroy it.

8. No matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

9. Want the good things in life, but don’t need the good things.

10. Never regret what has happened in the past, you can’t change it.

11. Two people will look at the same thing and see something totally different.

12. Never settle for second best.

13. Don’t give your power away by letting others dictate how you feel.

14. Stop trying to read everyone’s mind, it can’t be done.

15. Don’t be confined by rules, break them every once in a while.

16. Nobody thinks about you as much as you think about you.

17. Be kind to unkind people, they often need it the most.

18. Key to happiness: Don't compare yourself to others, you're on a different path altogether.

19. Circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responisble for who we become.

20. Life doesn’t get better – only your perception of life improves.


These are my confessions...
I wish I had more to offer the world.
I've only been in love once.
I love socializing, but don't mind having time to myself every once in a while.
I am glad life is a challenge.
I wish more people were like me.
I really do care what other people think.
My mother is the only person I would trust with my life.
I am extremely resistant to change.
I often say things I don't mean.
I sometimes wonder who would be at my funeral.
I wish more people blogged so I could learn more about them.
I enjoy the simple things.
